# All Units: Clusters

All Units with the unit selector set to clusters is the portfolio view: every cluster in the estate, ranked by how much runway it has left and what is going to run out first. It is the fastest way to decide which clusters deserve a deep dive.

## What this screen shows

Three donut charts across the top summarize the estate: clusters grouped by weeks left to capacity, by total hosts, and by capacity constraint. The constraint donut is the most useful of the three, because it tells you immediately whether you have a memory problem, a CPU problem, or a mix.

Beneath them, a sortable table with Total VMs, Total CPUs, Avg % CPU, Avg % Memory, Total Disk Allocated, and % Disk Util, plus the standard Collection Date, Change Client, unit selector, search, filter, and grouping controls.

## When to use it

- **Fast health snapshot.** One screen tells you the state of every cluster you run.
- **Finding the constrained clusters.** Identify which are memory or CPU limited before anyone proposes a purchase.
- **Prioritizing deep-dive work.** Decide where to spend the afternoon rather than opening clusters at random.

## How to work it

- **Sort by Weeks Left to Capacity.** The shortest runway rises to the top, and that ordering is your work queue.
- **Group by vCenter or data center.** Patterns by environment become visible, and a whole site running hot reads differently from one bad cluster.
- **Click through a cluster name where linked.** That opens the per-cluster summary, trends, and modeling screens with the cluster already selected.

> **Tip:** Treat negative VM build capacity as a hard stop, not a warning. It means a constraint has already been exceeded. Find the limiting factor and model a mitigation before anyone places new workload on that cluster.
