# How to Connect Devices > Add, verify, and manage the environments that feed your dashboards. Visual One Intelligence brings data from across your environment into one place. This guide explains how to add and manage the sources that feed your dashboards. ## Adding a source From your workspace, open the connections area and choose to add a new source. You'll be asked for connection details and credentials, which are used only to establish the sync and are stored securely. > **Note:** Connections are read-only by default. Visual One Intelligence collects the data it needs to report on your environment without making changes to it. ## Verifying the connection After entering your details, run the built-in connection test. A successful test confirms the source is reachable and credentials are valid. If the test fails, double-check the address and permissions and try again. ## Managing multiple sources You can connect as many environments as you need. Each appears in your connections list, where you can review sync status, rename it, or remove it. For a starting overview, see the [Quick Start](https://visualoneintelligence.com/docs/) guide. ## Troubleshooting If a source stops syncing, the most common causes are expired credentials or a network change on your side. The connections list flags any source needing attention so you can resolve it quickly. --- Source: https://visualoneintelligence.com/docs/how-to-connect-devices/
