# Platform Criteria 2: Data Provider Support | **Application** | Visual One Intelligence (VisualOne / VSI) | | --- | --- | | **Platform version referenced** | v6.0.0.1 | | **Criterion** | Data Provider Support: public CSPs, data cloud providers, SaaS, data center, and private cloud infrastructure | | **Source basis** | VisualOne reference documentation (FinOps for VisualOne Reference Guide; VSI Screen Reference Guide; VSI Virtualization Reporting User Guide; Visual One Storage Reference) | ## How data providers are supported Providers are registered as **collection devices** under Settings, Collection Devices, where an administrator selects one or more device types from a catalog of **50+ supported types** and configures each instance with address, credentials (username/password or SSH key), collection machine, collection day(s), collection time, and timeout. Collection is agentless, performed via CLI or REST API against configuration files and instrumentation rather than workload-intensive agents, and is designed to avoid application performance impact. Bulk onboarding is available through Bulk Import Devices. Data from every provider is normalized into the same three analysis contexts (Storage, Compute/Virtual, Cloud), the same unified tag vocabulary via Foreign Tag Key mapping, and the same FOCUS-aligned export schema, so provider diversity does not fragment the cost model. The tables below list providers evidenced in the reference documentation. The collector catalog contains further types beyond those individually named here. ## Public cloud service providers | Provider | Evidence of support | | --- | --- | | **Microsoft Azure** | Device Type Code MICROSOFT_AZURE;
